Bringing "Affordable Healthcare for All" to Savannah
August 23, 2019
Lott + Barber is excited to be working with JC Lewis Primary Health Care Center, Inc. to design their new facility in Savannah which focuses on healthcare for the homeless. This Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) was founded in 1999 by the leadership of Union Mission, Inc. and in 2011 it was established as an independent organization. The 12,000 square foot facility will be located in the former Thompson Sporting Goods building adjacent to Oglethorpe Mall. Thorough programming with the users has resulted in an efficient design to meet their current needs and allow for future growth into an additional 1500 SF of shell space. This new facility will replace their existing location downtown which was inefficient and in need of modernization. Expected completion of construction is in the Spring of 2020. Lott + Barber is honored to be a part of their growth as they fulfill their mission statement - Affordable Health Care for All.
