RICE HOPE - TOWN CENTER

Lott + Barber worked with Sivica Communities, Inc., to create a master plan of this 1300+ acre mixed use development in Port Wentworth. This development will include a pedestrian-oriented town center with retail, entertainment, offices and residential; diverse housing opportunities, including detached single-family residential, townhomes, live-work units, lofts, and multi-family; neighborhood-oriented commercial; civic and community facilities; and neighborhood parks placed generously throughout the development. Rice Hope (www.Rice-Hope.com) is the first development to be designed following the City of Port Wentworth overlay district. Also designed by Lott + Barber, the overlay district encourages developers to create neighborhoods with diverse housing opportunities and a mix of uses.
In addition to the overall master plan development Lott+Barber has completed conceptual planning for several of the unique portions of the development. Specific planning services have been provided for:
