CITY OF PORT WENTWORTH MASTER PLAN
Port Wentworth, Georgia
Facing expansion by the Georgia Ports Authority and other industry, Port Wentworth commissioned Lott + Barber to design a master plan to encourage growth on 5,000 acres away from industrial pressures. The master plan was developed with an active community participation process to encourage growth as desired by the citizens.Port Wentworth, Georgia
The first phase of the master plan includes a town center ringed by neighborhoods, which include schools, bike and hiking trails and pocket parks. Preserved natural areas of wetlands and creeks create outdoor exploring areas for all.
