Following the completion of the master plan and predesign study, Lott + Barber was retained to design and administer the construction of the first phase of the new campus. The building establishes the campus aesthetic featuring brick and cast stone exterior walls, a combination of flat and curved roof systems, and large expanses of tinted glazing. The plan is organized by the two story curved student corridor. Clerestory windows at the second level, exposed steel structure and a curved roof provide the student population with an indoor street that not only connects all the classrooms but also provides students with breakout and study spaces. The 'L' shaped building forms the corner of the future quadrangle
