Sea Island Bank wanted to create a large bank building which would serve as a hub for expansion in the Metter area. The exterior is designed to coordinate with the main downtown Statesboro bank, and utilizes the same brick color and texture, matching windows, a cupola similar to the downtown bank, and copper gutters. A large curved porch highlights the entry to the bank and is one of the more unique features of this design.
